Shout Outs

  • Shout-out to Ms. Lachapelle for all her hard work organizing the WinSport Ski & Snowboard Program for our Grade 4, 5, and 6 students. This program provided a fantastic opportunity for students to be adventurous, challenge themselves, and take part in a challenging physical activity. We truly appreciate the time and effort Ms. Lachapelle put into coordinating this fun and memorable outdoor experience for our students.
  • Shout-out to all the staff who supported our field trips this week (Grade 1 Zoo and Grade 4–6 WinSport). Field trips provide wonderful opportunities for students to learn, explore, and build meaningful experiences, and we truly appreciate all the hard work and dedication that goes into making them happen.
  • Shout-out to all our parent volunteers who supported our field trips this week. Without your time and commitment, we would not be able to offer these opportunities to our students. Your support helps make field trips fun, meaningful, and memorable experiences that our students truly enjoy. Thank you for all your support!

Mini Playground Update from SHSES

We are one week closer to making the Mini Playground replacement a reality!

Thanks to incredible support from families, community partners, and foundations, we’re in the final stretch of fundraising for an inclusive, accessible playground that will serve students and the wider Signal Hill community.

To help close the remaining funding gap, we are planning a volunteer build and will be looking for dedicated support from families and community members. More details will be shared once the playground design is finalized. Charitable donations can be made through our fundraising partners, Parks Foundation Calgary and Benevity.
