Swimming

We had a great two weeks of swimming. The students reported having a wonderful time and really enjoying the lessons developing this important life skill. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped us make this a success, we really appreciated your help!

Lunch Time Behaviours

We are requesting your help with reminding children of the required behaviours when eating lunch at school. We are seeing an increase in unsettled behaviour during the eating period and disrespect towards our lunch supervisors when they request that students follow the expected routines. Our lunch supervisors manage two or three classes at a time. They circulate between the rooms, taking attendance, helping students with their lunch items and interacting with the children. Students are expected to eat, not share food, interact quietly with the peers around them and stay in their seats whether the supervisor is in the room or not. Thank you for your support.

School Council

We had a good turn out at this week’s School Council Meeting. Thank you to everyone who attended! Your voice matters and your participation has an impact on enhancing educational opportunities and community building events at the school.

2024 School Planning Surveys

School survey results were shared at the School Council meeting and will be posted on our website. A low number of responses were received; however all responses have been reviewed and considered in decision-making with the understanding that the results are not representative of the entire school community.
