  • Shout-out to our amazing Parent Volunteers who helped out with the Grade 1 Field Trip  to TELUS Spark Science Centre! Your time, support, and enthusiasm helped make the day a fun and memorable experience for our students. We truly appreciate everything you do! 
  • Shout-out to all our fantastic Support Staff! This week, we celebrate Support Staff Appreciation Week and recognize the dedication, patience, and behind-the-scenes work you bring every day. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do to support our students, staff, and community—we are truly grateful for you today and every day. 


REMINDER - Grades 3 & 4 Swim to Survive Program 

The Swim to Survive program begins on Monday for our Grade 3 and 4 classes and will run daily until Thursday. Please ensure your child brings a swimsuit and towel each day. 

Classes will depart two at a time, with the first bus leaving at 8:50 a.m. To ensure no one misses the bus, all students should be in their classrooms by 8:38 a.m. when the bell rings. 

  

Run Club 

The BPS Run Club will begin on May 4 and will run every Wednesday. Club members will meet in the gym at 11:25 a.m., head out for their run, and then return to the gym to eat lunch. 

Students interested in joining the Run Club have been given a permission form to be signed by their parents/guardians. All forms must be returned to their teacher before May 4 in order to participate.

We’re excited to launch our annual online plant fundraiser in support of our Mini Playground rebuild. This much-loved space serves not only our students, but our entire community — and your purchase helps move us closer to the finish line. 
 
Every plant ordered supports safe, accessible, and inclusive play for our children.

📍Plants will be available to pick up June 5, 2026 
 
Whether you're refreshing your yard, buying a gift, adding greenery to your home office or stocking up for summer, your support makes a lasting impact.
