Student Council Summer Book Exchange

Reminder to bring in books for this Thursday’s Book Exchange. This is a great opportunity to have new books to enjoy over the summer!

Wheel Week

Thank you to all of the students who participated in Wheel Week this year, it was great to see so many students wheel their way to school each day. The Wheel Parade on Friday was attended by both children, parents, guardians and even some teachers and was enjoyed by all who joined in.

School Council

We would like to say thank you to the small but mighty team that has served on the School Council this year. We are very grateful for the initiatives and enhancements they have provided to our students this year. We will be saying goodbye to our chairs, Brian and Kristi McKinnon, at the end of the year. They have put in a phenomenal effort to maintain the council and continued to champion school spirit and enrichments that have benefitted the students this year and in years to come. We thank and appreciate them for all they have done.

Our first School Council event of the 2025-26 school year will be a ‘Back to School’ picnic on September 4. Please mark this date in your calendar. The first School Council Meeting will be the AGM on September 16. This will be followed by a parent social outing that all adults are invited to. More details will be provided in the first week of September.

REMINDER: Sports and Activity Day – June 23 – Volunteers Needed

Please email Ms. Lachapelle at kglachapelle@cbe.ab.ca if you’re available to volunteer Monday, June 23 from 12:00pm-4:00pm. You will be in charge of setting up, running, and taking down the station. Due to the nature of this event, a police check is not mandatory for volunteers. 

FINAL WEEK to Register for 2025-26 Transportation:

This is the final week to register for yellow school bus transportation. If you do not register prior to Sunday, June 22, your information will not be able to be used when planning stops for student pick-up and drop-off.
