Learning Conferences Booking
Learning Conferences Booking will open on Friday March 15 at 6:00pm. Use your MyCBE account on the CBE Website to access the booking application. The Learning Conferences will take place on Thursday March 21 from 4:30PM-8:30PM, and on Friday March 22 from 8:30am-1:00PM.
Daylight Savings
Just a reminder that Daylight Savings begins on Sunday March 10. Remember to ‘spring forward’ your clocks by an hour before you go to bed on Saturday night.
Mission Impossible
In Physical Education, we have begun our Mission Impossible obstacle course. Students have an opportunity to move through/on/over/under a variety of gymnastics apparatus. As part of our safety protocol, we ask that students come dressed in clothing in which they can easily move, and that don’t have parts that hang or are loose. Skirts and hoodies are not recommended, and large jewellery will need to be removed.
Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair will be setup in our Learning Commons during our Learning Conferences on Thursday evening, and during our Learning Conferences on Friday morning. Please note that the Book Fair will close at 12:00PM on Friday so if you have a conference booked after 12:00, please come early if you would like to visit the Book Fair. Also note that the Book Fair does not take cash for payment.
Spare Clothing
As it warms up outside and the snow melts, our fields often become quite muddy and wet. Please pack extra clothing in your student’s backpack, so that they have clean, dry clothes available in the event that they get wet or muddy outside.
Absence, Late or Leaving Early
Just a reminder that sending an email to battalionpark@cbe.ab.ca or calling our attendance line at 403-777-7187 ext.1 will enable our office staff to complete attendance in a timely manner each day. Thank you for your support with this important job!
