Pink Shirt Day

Thank you to our Grade 2 classes who hosted our Pink Shirt day assembly to raise awareness about bullying and teach us about the importance of kindness and healthy relationships. There was a wonderful display of hearts describing all of the acts of kindness done for others over the month. Thank you to all of the students who wore pink to show support on this important day!

School Planning Engagement Survey

At our School Council meeting on Wednesday, we shared our School Planning Engagement PowerPoint to provide parents and guardians with information regarding our School Development Plan and our School Budget and Fees. Using this information, parents and guardians were asked to complete the School Planning Survey. This PowerPoint is now posted on our website for your reference and we are asking all parents and guardians to complete the School Planning Survey to provide your feedback. The survey is open from Thursday, February 27, 2025 to Friday, March 14, 2025. Please complete the survey.

Your input is important to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your perspectives.

School Attendance and Late Arrivals

A friendly reminder that school starts promptly at 8:53am every morning. We understand that the traffic around the school is very busy, especially on the colder mornings, but we ask that families please plan accordingly to arrive at school on time. Students may enter the school between 8:40-8:53. The doors are closed promptly at the 8:53 bell, and attendance is done by teachers right away. Students who arrive after 8:53 must enter through the office, where they are given a Welcome slip, and their entry time is recorded and subsequently entered into PowerSchool. Students who arrive late to school miss valuable instructional time and this can also disrupt the classroom learning that has already begun. We appreciate you taking this information into consideration when bringing your students to school in the morning.
